Gene therapy and noninvasive gene delivery to the brain

2017 - current, currently recruiting at all levels

We are currently working on improving noninvasive gene delivery to the brain through focused-ultrasound BBB opening (FUS-BBBO). Current work will improve cost, safety, and transduction efficiency of the technique. Our work also includes viral vector engineering. For an example application, see ATAC page.

These projects are supported by The G. Harold and Leila Y. Mathers Foundation and John S. Dunn Foundation.
